A replay of 200 simulated shifts at a waste-to-energy plant, worked by Ammonix: our harness deciding from recorded past shifts, with a local fine-tuned 9B model (Ornith) as its only language model.
Ammonix runs a simulated waste-to-energy plant: it burns waste to make electricity. Trucks deliver waste into three bunkers, which feed the furnace. The picture at the top left shows the queue, the bunkers, the furnace temperature reading and the emissions column. A supervisor's directive (the day's orders) scales the delivery contract and sets the budget.
Break one and the shift fails; emissions, furnace and bunker breaches end it on the spot. A safety-first directive also adds a minimum safety margin.
A shift is 24 ticks of 15 minutes. Every tick, the Ammonix system takes exactly one action, for example routing or rejecting a truck, adjusting the furnace load, cleaning the boiler or escalating to the supervisor. The feed on the right names the layer that chose it, the action and its reason.
Press play and watch delivered energy chase the contract pace. Filter outcome: failure and read in the Shift panel which rule broke. Scrub to a SAFETY GUARD tick and read its reason; ask why if the dialog model is online.
